Police officer career advice?

I'm 14 and i want to become a police officer when i get older so i decided i want to get at least an associates degree in criminal justice most likely a bachelors degree, and i also want to serve in the marines so i was thinking of going into the marine reserves and doing the PLC program. would this be a good career path? any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
