Question concerning rabies!?

Not sure if I have this in the right category but: I was recently in the house of a friend who had put a dog down under "suspicious" circumstances where she told me that her yellow lab had developed canine laryngeal paralysis and was taken to the vet where she was supposedly giving a rabies vaccine and a steroid shot. The dog was taken home and apparently developed rabies-like symptoms and was euthanized about two weeks ago within a couple days of symptoms (2-3) and I was wondering if there was anyway I could contract the (possible? still not sure if that was the case) rabies from any surfaces I may have touched? I didn't stay long and used alcohol on my hands, arms, neck and face and everything I touched upon leaving and went right home and took a shower with anti-bacterial soap all over and washed all my clothes I had one in hot water. Should I be safe or should I call my doctor and get double checked? I just want to get my info straight before I spaz everyone out for nothing.
