Should I go into the Marine Corps and start college a year late?

My dad was in the Marines and I have always wanted to join but now that I'm about to graduate I'm starting to get second thoughts. If I joined the Marines I would ship July 11th and go through 3 months of bootcamp and then my mos training. I wouldn't be able to start college until next fall. The problem with that is I am in tough classes, I would be going into AP calculus 2 and AP physics taking pretty hard classes and I don't want to leave that gap between high school and college. It would be nearly impossible to get back into the school rhythm and hold a 4.0. My recruiter said I could get a $5000 bonus out of boot camp and would apply to PLC (platoon leaders course) and then become a reserved officer getting payed $4000 a month while in college. I'm just unsure on what I want to do and now it just seems like I'm doing it for the money. Just want some input, thanks!
