Animal testing debate?!?

Ok so some people say animal testing is good! Even medical testing, I believe that no animal should suffer for our gain in any way! People say "if you've ever taken any medication you support animal testing!" well why do you think I don't take anything when I have a fever unless I have to! If it was cancer or something then that is different but not just for a simple flu vaccine. Anyway whats your views on this subject
